Supporting our small, local businesses has always been important to our team, but in a year like no other the importance of this matter was magnified like never before. Our team will be highlighting and supporting local businesses over the coming months and we hope you will follow along and join us in trying out some of our favorite spots across town. Maybe you too will find some new favorites from coffee shops, restaurants, flower and gift shop to desserts and boutiques across Denver, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Aurora, Castle Rock, Centennial and more.
Earlier this morning, we held our weekly meeting at Gelato & Co at 1509 Park Central Drive in Highlands Ranch. Gelato & Co. is a family-owned Colorado business and features gelato, pastries, cakes, tarts, coffee and more made fresh every morning. Everything is made from scratch with real, raw and natural ingredients highlighting the “farm to table” concept using organic products from local farmers whenever possible. Their dairy flavors have low fat content because they use less cream and the sorbets are completely fat free, dairy free and full of fruit. While the shop offers signature pastries, cookies, croissants, coffees and more, the signature gelato comes in 24 flavors including Berry Cheesecake, Cookies and Crème, Red Velvet Cupcake, Dulce de Leche, Banana Caramel and many more. Whether for an early morning coffee and pastry or a late-night family dessert, there is sure to be something for everyone here and a favorite flavor for all tastes and ages.
