When Dale Schossow started out in real estate in 1979, daily life on the job meant driving hand-written contracts all over Denver, stopping at pay phones to stay in touch and having the latest MLS books to show inventory. Of course all of that can be done with a single device in your pocket these days but as Dale notes, “One constant remains: People buy homes and people sell homes, and each and every one has different needs and desires. It is still a people and ‘relationship’ business.”
In the five decades since his career began, Dale’s experience has led to a strong presence and portfolio of results in sought-after communities such as Ravenna, BackCountry, Highlands Ranch, Cherry Hills, Castle Pines, and surrounding South Metro neighborhoods. His legacy of honesty, preparation, and long-term relationships is carried forward by his son Nick’s modern leadership of The Schossow Group and the dedication of the entire team they have put together which includes seasoned agents April Stahl and Molly Petrelli, alongside newly added agent Josh Geist.
Together, they have built a culture where clients are known by name, stories matter, and outcomes are handled with care. In a modern world driven by automation, algorithms and AI, it’s this balance of experience, collaboration, and genuine connection that continues to make The Schossow Group one of Colorado’s most trusted real estate teams.
“We live, work and play in the areas our clients do and we share in their experiences. That will always be the separator,” Nick explains. “Technology and tools don’t mean anything if you don’t have the experience, empathy and devotion to serve your clients.”
In the fall of 2025, Molly helped a 91-year-old U.S. veteran sell the Denver home he had lived in for nearly 50 years. With little local family support, she stepped in to help him thoughtfully prepare the home for listing—down to sitting beside him as they sorted through decades of mementos and war photographs.
“I had only known him for a week or two, yet there we were in his living room, reliving memories and honoring a lifetime,” Molly recalls. “It was incredibly emotional and tender. These aren’t just our clients’ homes—these are their lives. They hold stories, families, and legacies. We want to honor that responsibility and guide each person to what comes next—whether that means buying a first home, moving into a dream home, relocating, or beginning the next chapter of someone’s life.”
With Dale and Lindy's four children (Nick and April among them) and 13 grandchildren, plus Nick, April, Molly, and Josh each raising three kids of their own, the Schossow Group isn't just a family business—it's a team deeply rooted in Colorado. That family foundation shapes everything they do. Multiple generations living, growing, and thriving in the Denver area means the team is able to guide clients through every life stage with genuine insight into neighborhoods, schools, recreation, sports, culture and everything that makes a community feel like home.
"We're so passionate about what we do because it’s our life," April shares, who brings 20+ years of real estate experience and hosts a BackCountry Run Club and is active at her church and in her kids' schools. "That authentic connection means we can serve from genuine, first-hand experience."
Chief among these communities is Ravenna in Littleton, where Dale has been particularly instrumental in the private golf community’s development since 2005 – before the first ball was ever teed up. Both residents and club members at Ravenna Country Club enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the privacy and serenity that comes with the lifestyle there. Now a celebrated community of just over 200 luxury homes, the Schossows have sold more than 150 of the homes and homesites at Ravenna through the years, where their deep community involvement has made them not just friends, but trusted advisors for buyers and sellers alike. Outside of Ravenna, the team also serves the entire Denver area, specializing in Highlands Ranch, Littleton and Parker with the same commitment to exceptional care and advocacy for clients no matter the locale.
“We'll never chase a listing at the expense of doing what's truly best for our clients,” says April. “I believe that combination of integrity with our experience is why clients come back to us and trust us with their friends and family.”
The team’s reputation for integrity and personalized service is reflected in the experiences of their clients. Jamie shared, “We had the most amazing experience working with the entire Schossow team! It was like working with family,” while Carl wrote, “37 years and 18 transactions with Dale, that should tell you how we feel about the character and professionalism that is exhibited in The Schossow Group.”

“I like to deal with problems,” Dale says. “Every transaction has some, but when presented with what seems to be an unsolvable issue or problem, I enjoy working it through to a successful end.”
